The Quick Way to Open Files with OTI Extension

Different software packages use different file extensions, so if you can't open the OTI file, it could be because:

  • You don't have the associated software on your computer (OpenOffice/StarOffice OpenDocument Image Template (Sun Microsystems Inc.) is the most popular software package that uses OTI file).

  • You may have OpenOffice/StarOffice OpenDocument Image Template (Sun Microsystems Inc.) but your computer is not configured to associate OTI files with the relevant software.

  • The file is corrupt.

If You Don't Have OpenOffice/StarOffice OpenDocument Image Template (Sun Microsystems Inc.)

In order to open your OTI file, you will have to download OpenOffice/StarOffice OpenDocument Image Template (Sun Microsystems Inc.) or another similar software package.

If Your Computer is Not Configured to Open OTI Files

If you have the relevant software, but your computer still won't open the software, you will have to change the file associations on Windows or Mac. Depending on your operating system, you can ensure that your computer always open OTI files using OpenOffice/StarOffice OpenDocument Image Template (Sun Microsystems Inc.) or another program of your choice that uses OTI files.

If that still doesn't work, you can get in touch with your software developer to find out what you can do. You can contact any of these developers for more information or assistance:
