The Quick Way to Open Files with GV Extension

Different software packages use different file extensions, so if you can't open the GV file, it could be because:

  • You don't have the associated software on your computer (Unknown Apple II File, Graphviz DOT Language File, and Grandview are the most popular software packages that use GV file).

  • You may have Unknown Apple II File, Graphviz DOT Language File, or Grandview but your computer is not configured to associate GV files with the relevant software.

  • The file is corrupt.

If You Don't Have Unknown Apple II File, Graphviz DOT Language File, or Grandview Software Installed

In order to open your GV file, you will have to download Unknown Apple II File, Graphviz DOT Language File, Grandview, or another similar software package.

If Your Computer is Not Configured to Open GV Files

If you have the relevant software, but your computer still won't open the software, you will have to change the file associations on Windows or Mac. Depending on your operating system, you can ensure that your computer always open GV files using Unknown Apple II File, Graphviz DOT Language File, Grandview, or another program of your choice that uses GV files.

If that still doesn't work, you can get in touch with your software developer to find out what you can do. You can contact any of these developers for more information or assistance:
