The Quick Way to Open Files with JD Extension

Different software packages use different file extensions, so if you can't open the JD file, it could be because:

  • You don't have the associated software on your computer (Jigsaw Terminal File is the most popular software package that uses JD file).

  • You may have Jigsaw Terminal File but your computer is not configured to associate JD files with the relevant software.

  • The file is corrupt.

If You Don't Have Jigsaw Terminal File

In order to open your JD file, you will have to download Jigsaw Terminal File or another similar software package.

If Your Computer is Not Configured to Open JD Files

If you have the relevant software, but your computer still won't open the software, you will have to change the file associations on Windows or Mac. Depending on your operating system, you can ensure that your computer always open JD files using Jigsaw Terminal File or another program of your choice that uses JD files.

If that still doesn't work, you can get in touch with your software developer to find out what you can do. You can contact any of these developers for more information or assistance:

If the JD File is Corrupt

In some instances, you may receive an error message stating that the file is corrupt. If you have tried all of the above, and it still doesn't work, download or request a new copy to see if that works.

Open JD File the Easy Way

If you don't want to download Jigsaw Terminal File (for whatever reason), and the other options also don't work... that's okay!

Even though some JD files must be opened in a program for which it was developed (binary format), you may still be able to open it in a universal file viewer such as File Magic. Download File Magic now from the Microsoft Store and open your JD file!
