If You Don't Have Unknown Apple II File, Pro/ENGINEER Temporary File, or 3WayPack Software Installed
In order to open your OUT file, you will have to download Unknown Apple II File, Pro/ENGINEER Temporary File, 3WayPack, or another similar software package.
If Your Computer is Not Configured to Open OUT Files
If you have the relevant software, but your computer still won't open the software, you will have to change the file associations on Windows or Mac. Depending on your operating system, you can ensure that your computer always open OUT files using Unknown Apple II File, Pro/ENGINEER Temporary File, 3WayPack, or another program of your choice that uses OUT files.

If the OUT File is Corrupt
In some instances, you may receive an error message stating that the file is corrupt. If you have tried all of the above, and it still doesn't work, download or request a new copy to see if that works.
Open OUT File the Easy Way
If you don't want to download Unknown Apple II File, Pro/ENGINEER Temporary File, or 3WayPack (for whatever reason), and the other options also don't work... that's okay!
